Mexican-Style Poutine (Cheesy Chorizo Fries)
WHAT YOU NEED
- 1 1/2 pounds frozen fries
- 1 package of Cacique® Pork Chorizo
- 1 tub of Cacique® Queso Blanco Dip
- 1 package Cacique® Panela, crumbled into curds
- 1/2 cup fresh chopped green onion or thinly sliced jalapenos
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Lay the frozen fries on a large baking tray and cook as per packaging instructions. Halfway into cooking, add Cacique® Panela curds and continue cooking.
- While the fries are cooking, cook the Cacique® Pork Chorizo on medium heat, breaking it down into crumbles with a wooden spoon, about 8-10 minutes.
- Heat the tub of Cacique® Queso Blanco Dip according to the packaging instructions.
- Push the cooked French fries towards the middle of the baking tray, pour on the Queso Blanco Dip, crumble on the chorizo, and garnish with the chopped green onion or jalapeño.
