Panela Sideline Sticks
WHAT YOU NEED
- 1 package Cacique® Panela
- 1 Cacique® Homestyle Medium or Mild Salsa, for dipping
- Panko breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
HOW TO MAKE IT
- Cut Cacique® Panela into sticks.
- Crack 2 eggs into a bowl and whisk thoroughly.
- In a second bowl, add panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip cheese sticks into egg, then coat with the breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere
- Repeat for a second coating, then freeze sticks for an hour.
- Pour oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry in batches until golden brown on all sides
- Serve with Cacique® Homestyle Salsa.
