Tacos de Camaron
WHAT YOU NEED
- Cacique Ranchero Queso Fresco, crumbled
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 white onion, chopped
- 1 jalapeño
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp chicken bouillon
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp chipotle sauce
- 8 oz Cacique Crema Mexicana
- 1 1/2 lbs. shrimp
- Corn tortillas
HOW TO MAKE IT
- In a medium sauté pan, cook the garlic cloves, white onion and jalapeño. After about a minute, add the red and green bell pepper. Cook for an additional minute, then add tomato sauce and mix, cover and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add oregano, black pepper, paprika, salt, chicken bouillon, soy sauce, Crema Mexicana then mix till combined. Then add shrimp, stir until combined and place lid on the pan and cook for about five minutes.
- To a lightly oiled comal add tortillas and cook until crispy. Add shrimp mixture, top with crumbled Queso Fresco and tacos serve warm.
