Cheesy Chorizo Baked Oysters
WHAT YOU NEED
- 10 oysters, shucked
- 1/2 cup Cacique® Pork Chorizo
- 1 tablespoon jalapeño, seeded and finely diced
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 cup Cacique® Oaxaca Cheese, thinly grated
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
HOW TO MAKE IT
- reheat oven to 500 degrees F.
- In a small pan heat Cacique® Pork Chorizo and jalapeños. Once the chorizo releases its oils, add breadcrumbs. Set mixture aside.
- Once chorizo mixture has cooled place a small amount on top of each shucked oyster. Top each oyster with grated Cacique® Oaxaca cheese.
- Bake for 7 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
